ICUA exhibition on post-medieval glass opened in MAS
On 23.10.2014. in the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar, an exhibition titled Post-medieval glass from the seabed of Istria and Dalmatia was officially opened. Exhibition was jointly organised by the ICUA zadar and MAS Zadar. At the same time, the comprehensive exhibition catalog written by Luka Beki? was presented. The exhibits date from the 16th to the 20th century, and have been found at various coastal sites during the ICUA Zadar underwater projects. |

IKUWA 5 World Congress held in Cartagena, Spain
From 15th to 19th October 2014, the fifth world Congress of underwater archaeologists called "Heritage of Humanity" was held in Cartagena. The IKUWA 5 Congress was organized by the National museum of underwater archeology ARQVA, and lectures were held in the Polytechnic University. More than 100 lectures were followed by several hundred active participants and other interested parties. |

UNESCO Regional Meeting and opening of the Von Petrikovits library
On 30.9. and 1.10.2014. the Regional meeting on the implementation of the Convention on the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage, organized by UNESCO, was held at the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar. The objectives of the meeting were to find modes to improve international cooperation between the countries of South Eastern Europe, in terms of protection of underwater finds and sites.

Continued underwater research at Ližnjan
During the two weeks from the 14. to 27.9.2014., underwater archaeological excavations of the ancient shipwrecks on Cape Uljeva were resumed. One Roman ship sank on dangerous cliffs during the 1st century BC, and the other in the 4th century. |

Underwater survey in Dubrovnik area ended up with sensational findings
This year's survey by ICUA Zadar and RPM Nautical Foundation, with their research vessel Hercules, achieved greatest success in the south Croatian waters so far. This year underwater robot had finally reached an intact ancient shipwreck from the 1st century BC off cape Pelegrin near Kupari. |

First Scientific diving course finished in Zadar
From 2nd - 14th June 2014, a scientific diving course took place in Zadar. The course was organized in cooperation between Illyrian Coastal Exploration Program, Transylvania University, and ICUA for 11 students from USA, UK, Estonia, Germany, and Cyprus. |
